Virgin Atlantic is offering fall and winter London sale fares. Fares start at $378 round-trip, and departures are available from New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

If you like planning your trips far in advance, this deal is worth considering, as travel is valid through March of next year. But, you should shop around before you book to ensure you get a good deal on your route.

The deal

Travel is valid from October 25 through December 11 and from December 24 through March 23, 2009.

Book tickets at least seven days in advance. Fares require a Saturday-night stay, and the maximum stay is one month.

Book by March 16, 11:59 PM ET.
