Delta is offering sale fares for travel between Atlanta and beach destinations in the U.S. and the Caribbean. Fares start at $178 round-trip for flights through mid-December.

Delta’s prices were the best available for four of the six routes I checked. The only exceptions were the St. Croix and St. Thomas routes. American beat Delta’s sale price for travel to St. Croix by $3, while US Airways had a much lower fare for travel to St. Thomas.

This sale is worth a look, but be sure to compare fares before booking.

The deal

Travel is valid from September 24 through December 15.

Book tickets at least 21 days in advance. Fares require a three-night or Saturday-night stay, whichever comes first.

Book by October 8, 11:59 PM ET.
