Whistler
Whistler may be the ideal destination for those wanting to get in one last ski weekend before spring’s arrival. Two hours from Vancouver and five from Seattle, Whistler offers plenty of outdoor recreation, including skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, and dog sledding. More than 200 stores open their doors to shopaholics, and the town also boasts art galleries, spas, and fine restaurants.
I’ve tracked down several properties that offer a good value for your weekend getaway, each with reasonable prices and/or a little something extra to make your stay memorable.
