The Gates of Paradise Package at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle offers one night’s lodging, valet parking, and two VIP tickets to the Gates of Paradise exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum (as well as general museum admission). The exhibit showcases Lorenzo Ghiberti’s gilded bronze panels, depicting famous Biblical scenes, made in 1452 for the doors of Florence’s duomo. Prices start at $189 per night for a “classic” room, or $209 per night for a “deluxe” room.

This package offers an excellent value. When I checked rates, the package price was cheaper than the cost of just booking a room. Taking the room, parking, and tickets into account, the package saves you 29 percent for “classic” accommodations, or 27 percent for “deluxe.”
