American has announced a new sale from South Florida to the Caribbean and Central America, with fares from $168 round-trip. Depart from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami to San Jose, San Juan, and Guatemala City, among others.

The deal

Travel is valid from March 25 through May 1.

Departures are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through April 29.

Book tickets at least three days in advance. A two-day minimum and 30-day maximum stay is required for most routes. Latin America fares have a maximum stay of 120 days.

Book by March 10, 11:59 PM CT.
