US Airways is offering sale fares to several Hawaiian islands, with prices starting at $282 round-trip. Destinations include Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.

US Airways’ sale is spotty. Its best prices among the routes I compared were for travel on the Dallas/Lihue, Detroit/Honolulu, and Phoenix/Honolulu routes.

US Airways itself topped the sale fares for travel on the Las Vegas/Kona and Charlotte/Lihue routes, and United also had a better price for the former. ATA beat US Airways’ sale price for travel between Dallas and Kahului. Before booking, compare US Airways’ sale fares with its everyday prices and fares from other airlines to ensure you get the best deal for your route.

The deal

Travel on the Dallas routes is valid through June 4.

Travel on the Detroit/Honolulu, Las Vegas/Kona, and Phoenix/Honolulu routes is valid through June 5.

Fares are available Mondays through Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on the route. Advance-purchase requirements vary by route, from 14 to 30 days. US Airways has not listed a booking deadline. Fares require a one-night minimum stay.
