Spring flights to Italy are on sale from Alitalia. Fares start at $879 round-trip, including taxes and fees, and destinations include Florence, Rome, and Venice.

Alitalia is unique in that its sale fares always include taxes and fees, something I wish all airlines would do as well. The sale fares may be competitive for your route, but you should compare fares before booking to be sure.
