Alitalia is offering spring and summer sale fares to Italy starting at $1,009, including taxes and fees. Destinations include Florence, Milan, Rome, and Venice.

The deal
Travel on most routes is valid from May 23 through August 31. Book tickets by May 8.
New York/Bologna fares are valid starting on June 13. Fares require a Saturday-night stay, and the maximum stay is one month.
