Holiday
Holiday season flights are on sale from Southwest. Fares start at $39 one-way or $78 round-trip, and destinations include Chicago, Las Vegas, and Denver.
Southwest’s sale fares were the best available for every route I checked, though the Chicago/Nashville, Dallas/San Antonio, and Los Angeles/Las Vegas fares were matched by other airlines. The lowest fares on some popular travel dates for certain routes are already sold out, but if you’re flexible with your dates, you will probably be able to snag a good deal.
It’s rare for an airline to discount its holiday flights, particularly on peak travel days, so you should consider taking advantage of these fares if you haven’t yet booked a flight.
