American
American is competing with many of the routes included in AirTran’s latest domestic deal. Fares start at $98 round-trip, and destinations include Atlanta, Miami, Ft. Myers, and Las Vegas.
American’s prices aren’t great. Its best deal was the Chicago/Minneapolis route, though AirTran, Northwest, and United had the same prices. The remaining routes were all beaten by airlines including AirTran, Alaska, ATA, Continental, Frontier, Northwest, United, and US Airways. You’ll probably find lower fares than the ones advertised in this deal, so be sure to shop around before you book.
The deal
Travel is valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays through January 30, 2008. Book tickets at least 10 days in advance. American’s offer will likely end on October 16, the same day AirTran’s sale expires. Fares may require up to a three-night minimum stay.
Book by October 16, 11:59 PM ET.
