Dot2Dot

dot2dot is a new airport transfer service between Heathrow Airport, London hotels and Gatwick Airport. It is a part of the National Express group, which is the biggest transport provider to London's airports. It promises to provide: 1. Efficient door to door (or shall I say dot 2 dot) service. 2. No need to worry about traffic since the shuttles are allowed to use express bus lanes. 3. Relieves you from the stress of flagging a taxi. And, it's actually cheaper than a taxi. 4. 24 hour control team, incase of delays. 5. It guarantees the passenger no more than 3 stops. (more…)

Aruba

I compared several providers’ offerings for Aruba vacations in November around Thanksgiving, testing departures from Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. All vacations include round-trip airfare and four nights’ accommodations at an Aruba hotel, except for the Liberty Travel offer, which includes three nights’ accommodations. With the exception of the Liberty Travel deal, which only includes hotel taxes, packages include additional taxes and fees for airfare and hotel.

Rugby World Cup Finals

If you are planning to travel to Paris for the Rugby World Cup Finals (how can you resist with England in the finals against South Africa!), good for you! However, if you've made plans to travel by Eurostar on Thursday, you might want to consider checking out alternative transportation means as the Channel Tunnel high speed service has canceled three services from Paris to London Waterloo on Thursday because of the strike by French public sector workers. Sixteen Shades of Chocolate, Part 2

I forgot, in writing my previous post, to say how things went with us and our Sixteen shades of chocolate! Both my brother and I were slightly concerned at taking away vanilla, honeycomb, raspberry sorbet, and all of our other popular flavours for the food festival to make way for a scooping cabinet filled only with chocolate ice creams. My wife and I travel quite a bit. Our favorite place to travel is South America, especially Argentina. Surprisingly, our least favorite place to travel is Europe. Wherever we travel internationally, we always encounter things that make us shudder. Here’s a list of our most common complaints:
