Airlines including Alitalia, American, bmi, British Airways, Continental, Delta, KLM, Lufthansa, Northwest, Swiss, US Airways, and United itself beat the sale prices for the routes and dates I checked. Since United has plenty of competition, you should compare fares from several carriers before you book.

photo Last November 14 was a historic moment for European rail travel. The St. Pancras International, the new home of the Eurostar was inaugurated and the High Speed 1 was launched. From the Waterloo International, Eurostar transferred to St. Pancras International due to far better connections, such as six Underground lines and better rail connections since there are seven rail companies that connects the traveler to the rest of the UK. With the launch of the High Speed 1, average journeys are now atleast 20 minutes faster than before. Traveling to Paris is guaranteed in 2 hours and 15 minutes (a record was set at 2 hours and 3 minutes) and to Brussels in less than 2 hours. Northwest beat Air Canada’s sale prices for both of the Asia routes I checked. For the Europe routes, other airlines including Air France, Continental, Delta, KLM, Lufthansa, Northwest, and US Airways offered lower prices, and Air Canada itself topped its sale fare for the Denver/Rome route. Overall, these fares aren’t very competitive, so you could compare fares before booking.
