JetBlue’s sale prices were the best available for many of the dates I spot-checked. American beat JetBlue’s round-trip fare by $20 in one case, but JetBlue’s nonstop flight was a mere two-and-a-half hours, compared to American’s eight-hour one-stop itinerary. You can expect JetBlue’s fares to be among the cheapest for travel to Santo Domingo through May, but it’s still not a bad idea to do a quick fare-comparison before booking.

If you’re already planning to book a flight on Spirit, the discount offers are nice perks. Before you book, however, compare fares to ensure you can’t find a better price elsewhere, even with the discounts.
