You probably know that an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) can get you thousands of travel-related discounts in Europe, but you might not realize that you can also use your card for discounts on attractions, accommodations, tours, shopping, and more in cities across the U.S. Even if you’re not planning a trip abroad anytime soon, it may be worth your while to buy an ISIC so you can save on city trips at home and around the country.
The deal
The ISIC is available to full-time students for $22 and is good from September to December of the following year. The card entitles the carrier to more than 32,000 discounts on products and services around the world.
You can search for the available discounts in individual cities and regions in the U.S. through the ISIC website.

To purchase the ISIC
Purchase an ISIC through STA Travel or Travel CUTS. If you are not a student, but are under age 26, you may be eligible for discounts with an International Youth Travel Card (IYTC).
ISIC offers are subject to change. You must present your card at the time of purchase to receive the discount.
