United is offering first-class sale fares available for travel on Saturday. Fares start at $228 one-way or $456 round-trip, and destinations include Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; Toronto; and Calgary.

As you might expect, United’s fares were the best available for each the routes I checked. Even better, I found availability for most routes, something that doesn’t always happen when airlines announce very low prices on such short notice. You won’t find a better deal for a first-class seat, particularly on a legacy carrier, so snap up these fares before they’re gone.

Travel is valid on September 29. Round-trip purchase is not required.
