Flights to and from New York are on sale from Delta. Fares start at $138 round-trip, and travel is valid through August.

Delta’s sale fares were competitive for every route I checked, although other carriers matched some of the sale prices. American offered a similar Nashville fare; American, Northwest, and US Airways matched Delta’s Columbus fare; and JetBlue had a similar price for Buffalo departures. Since Delta is facing some competition, you should shop around before you book.


The deal

Travel is valid from June 11 through August 30.

Book tickets at least 21 days in advance. A three-night or Saturday-night minimum stay is required, whichever comes first.

Book by June 23, 11:59 PM ET.
