British Airways is offering up to $200 off round-trip flights worldwide through early September. The discount is available to registered users only.

It’s unusual to see such a substantial discount, so this offer is a great incentive to book with British Airways. Even so, you should compare British Airways’ fares (including the discount) with prices available on the same dates from other airlines to see if you’re getting a good deal.

The deal

The dollar amount of British Airways’ discount varies by departure city, and is based on round-trip bookings. Departures from Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Francisco can take advantage of the full $200 discount. Departures from Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Seattle, and Tampa get a $150 discount; while Baltimore, Boston, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., departures get a $100 discount.

The discount is available for travel through September 3. Book tickets by June 30. The cheapest fares are available midweek, require a Saturday-night stay, and have a maximum stay restriction of 11 months.
