If you’re taking a trip this summer with friends or extended family, this promotion is worth considering. The cost for just one room, split among several travelers, makes for a very affordable per-person rate. Or, if you’re traveling with children, the extra room for no extra charge is a good value.

The Doubletree Guest Suites Minneapolis offers an All Jazzzzzed Up package including lodging in a king suite, a $20 gift card to the Dakota Jazz Club, a bottle of wine, a fruit and cheese platter delivered to your room, and overnight parking. Rates start at $169 for weekends in June.
I was able to price the value of the room, gift card, and parking at the hotel, and the total came to $144. Essentially, this package charges you an additional $25 for the wine, fruit, and cheese. If this is a good value to you, go with the package. If you think you could put this package together on your own for less, you may want to go a la carte.
