Flights to and from Atlanta are on sale from Delta. Fares start at $178 round-trip for travel through June.
Delta’s prices were the best available for five of the six fares I compared, although other airlines, including American, Midwest, Northwest, and United, matched most of its fares. Northwest beat the sale price for travel between Atlanta and Cincinnati, so you should do a quick fare-comparison before you book to ensure you get the best price.

Spring Europe flights on Lufthansa are on sale from $438 round-trip. Destinations include Budapest, Florence, Geneva, and Munich.
Lufthansa’s deal includes cities not typically featured in Europe deals, so this sale is worth checking out if you’re thinking of visiting somewhere beyond stand-bys like London or Paris. Before booking, shop around to ensure you get the best deal for your route.

Allegiant has announced two new California destinations, filling some of the void left by Skybus. Fares from Bellingham to San Francisco start at $59 one-way, and San Diego fares start at $69 one-way.
Rejoice, those of you departing from (or traveling to) Bellingham! Allegiant’s fares are hundreds of dollars less than its competitors’ prices, so you’ll save big bucks if you take advantage of this offer.

Spring flights between Denver and cities in Colorado and Wyoming are on sale from Frontier. Fares start at $106 round-trip for travel through mid-June.
Frontier’s prices are hit-or-miss. When I checked, Frontier was offering the best prices for travel on the Aspen, Colorado Springs, and Durango routes, but United beat its Grand Junction and Jackson Hole fares. This sale is worth a look, but you should compare fares before you book.

United’s latest domestic sale features flights to and from the southeastern U.S. Fares start at $134 round-trip, and cities include Charlotte, Savannah, Chicago, and San Francisco.
Of the six routes I checked, United’s prices were the best available for the Newark/Columbia route only. American and Northwest topped the sale fares for the Birmingham/Chicago and Greensboro/San Francisco routes, Northwest offered a much better Denver/Charlotte fare, and Continental had a price hundreds of dollars lower for travel between Seattle and Savannah. Since other airlines’ prices are more competitive than the sale fares in many cases, you should be sure to shop around before booking.
