U.S. and Canada sale fares are on offer from Midwest. Prices start at $118 round-trip, and Madison, New York, San Diego, and Toronto are featured.

Midwest’s prices were the best available for five of the six routes I compared, though AirTran, American, Continental, Frontier, Northwest, United, and US Airways matched many of those fares. The only exception was for travel between Milwaukee and San Diego, where US Airways offered a better deal. Although Midwest has competitive prices, it’s still a good idea to compare fares before booking.

US Airways is offering sale fares to several Hawaiian islands, with prices starting at $252 round-trip. Destinations include Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.

US Airways’ sale is spotty. Its best prices among the routes I compared were for travel on the Las Vegas/Kona and Phoenix/Honolulu routes.

Virgin Atlantic is offering fall and winter London sale fares. Fares start at $378 round-trip, and departures are available from New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

If you like planning your trips far in advance, this deal is worth considering, as travel is valid through March of next year. But, you should shop around before you book to ensure you get a good deal on your route.

American may offer good deals for your travels, but you’ll have to shop around and compare prices from several airlines to be sure.

United will launch a handful of new routes in June, and is offering promotional sale fares starting at $206 round-trip. Destinations include Chicago, Denver, Quebec City, and Victoria.

United’s sale is spotty. The best deals among the fares I checked were for travel on the Bozeman/Denver, Denver/Missoula, and Los Angeles/Tulsa routes. Continental matched United’s price on the last of these routes, and Frontier beat United’s Rapid City/Chicago fare. Alaska and United itself bettered the sale price for travel between San Francisco and Victoria, and Delta offered a lower Chicago/Quebec City fare. This sale is worth considering, but you should still compare fares before booking.
