To help get you there cheaper, I compared several providers’ offerings for April, testing departures from Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. Through Thursday, JetBlue is offering a new sale with fares starting at $49 one-way or $98 round-trip. Flights to Boston, Las Vegas, New York, and Orlando are featured.

JetBlue’s sale fares were the best available for five of the seven fares I compared, although other airlines, including AirTran, Alaska, American, Continental, Frontier, Midwest, Northwest, United, and US Airways, matched many of those prices. But, American beat JetBlue’s Houston/New York fare, and AirTran and JetBlue itself offered lower prices for travel between Washington, D.C., and Orlando. Overall, this is a solid deal but you should still compare fares before booking.
