These are some of the lowest fares from Spirit I’ve seen this year, so this sale is a great deal for fare club members. It may be worth the $9 membership fee for nonmembers, if your route is included. (The $9 price is for a three-month trial only; annual membership costs $39.95.) The Westin Cincinnati offers a Renew for Two package including accommodations, sparkling wine and strawberries delivered to your room, breakfast in bed, and a 4 p.m. checkout. Rates start at $199 per night.

When I did a price comparison, I found the hotel charges $169 for the room alone. As such, this package costs an extra $30, a good value for the wine, strawberries, breakfast, and late checkout.

Spirit has announced two new destinations: Islip, NY; and Columbia, SC. Introductory sale fares start at $14 round-trip.

You won’t find cheaper fares than these, and unlike many of Spirit’s lowest sale prices, they are available for a few days. Even so, the cheapest fares will likely sell out quickly so you should act fast to take advantage of them.

Cathay Pacific’s All Asia Pass allows travelers to fly round-trip from the U.S. to Hong Kong and visit up to two other destinations in Asia for as little as $1,099. Airfare taxes and fees are extra.

Considering that separately purchased flights between these destinations could easily cost you several thousand dollars, the All Asia Pass can be a tremendous value. You may also add on other cities in China, India, Nepal, Vietman, and Bangladesh, or extend your travel period to up to 90 days for an extra charge.
