JetBlue is beefing up its Austin service with new flights to and from Ft. Lauderdale, Long Beach, Orlando, and San Francisco. Introductory sale fares start at $99 one-way or $198 round-trip.

JetBlue’s intro fares were hit-or-miss when I checked. US Airways matched the California fares, and Frontier also matched JetBlue’s San Francisco price. Northwest beat both Florida fares, and Midwest also beat the Ft. Lauderdale price. Keep in mind that those better deals may not be available for one-way travel. This deal is worth considering for your travel dates, particularly if you’re searching for a flexible one-way flight, but you should shop around before you book.
