ATA has announced a new U.S. (including Hawaii) and Mexico sale for travel through mid-May. Prices start at $79 one-way or $158 round-trip, and destinations include Chicago, Honolulu, Kahului, and Cancun.
ATA’s sale fares were the best available for every route I checked, though American, Frontier, and Northwest matched its Dallas/Chicago fare, and US Airways matched its price for travel between Washington, D.C., and Honolulu. This is a competitive deal, but you should still do a quick fare comparison before booking.

Delta is offering domestic sale fares starting at $188 round-trip. Destinations include Atlanta, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Washington, D.C.
Delta’s best deals among the routes I checked were for travel on the Atlanta/Ft. Walton Beach and Austin/Atlanta routes, though American and Northwest matched the latter. Northwest topped Delta’s sale fares for the Cincinnati/Las Vegas and Los Angeles/Cincinnati routes, while US Airways had better prices for the Greensboro/Orlando and Salt Lake City/Washington, D.C., routes. Delta has a lot of competition, so be sure to shop around before booking.
