$20

USA3000 is offering $20 off round-trip flights through December. The airline serves Florida, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean from cities in the Northeast and Midwest.

Though a $20 discount is a good reason to book a flight to a warm-weather destination on USA3000, you should still compare fares before you book to ensure you can’t find a lower price on another airline.

Domestic

Posted in Travel Deals by on the February 13th, 2008

Domestic sale fares are on sale from Midwest. Fares start at $110 round-trip, and cities include Boston, Kansas City, Milwaukee, and San Francisco.

Four of the six sale fares I compared were matched by other airlines, including Continental, Frontier, Northwest, United, and US Airways. Northwest beat Midwest’s price for travel between Nashville and Omaha, while Midwest itself, Continental, Frontier, Northwest, United, and US Airways topped the sale fare for the Kansas City/San Francisco route. Midwest is facing a lot of competition, so you should shop around before booking.

JetBlue

JetBlue is introducing service to Los Angeles’ LAX airport this spring, and is expanding its existing service from Long Beach, Burbank, and San Diego. Fares start at $39 one-way or $78 round-trip for travel in May and June.

JetBlue’s introductory sale fares were among the best available for four of the seven routes I checked: Burbank/Las Vegas, Long Beach/Austin, Long Beach/San Jose, and San Diego/Seattle. US Airways matched JetBlue’s Long Beach/Austin fare.
