ATA beat Hawaiian’s fare for travel between Los Angeles and Honolulu, but Hawaiian’s sale prices for the other routes I checked were the best available. Overall, you’ll find competitive prices in this deal, but you should still shop around before you book.

Southwest is offering another of its weekend sales. Fares start at $49 one-way, and cities include Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

Southwest’s sale fares were the best available for every route I checked, but other low-fare and major airline came within a dollar or two of Southwest’s prices. This deal is competitive overall, but you should compare fares before booking to ensure you get the best deal.

The Hilton Garden Inn White Marsh in Baltimore is offering an Overnight Get-Away from $179 per night. Packages include lodging, a camera, a pay-per-view movie, a large cheese pizza, bucket of snacks, and a breakfast buffet for two.

While the savings aren’t significant, you will get a better deal by booking the package over purchasing items individually. When I totaled the room, pizza, movie, snacks, and breakfast, the price came to $186. You’ll save $7 with the package.

The Charleston Marriott is promoting Book Early and Save rates for travelers willing to purchase their hotel room at least two weeks in advance. Advertised rates start at $194, but I found even cheaper prices, from $149, for weekends in December.

If you know your travel plans are not going to change, the advance-purchase offer is worth considering. Book early rates were $30 cheaper than the next-lowest price, and were the cheapest among all price categories. However, if you need flexibility, it may not be such a good deal, as there are no refunds if you need to cancel.

If you’re traveling to St. Louis and would like to see this exhibit, the package offers a good deal. Rates with the package are $20 cheaper than if you were to purchase your hotel, parking, and exhibit tickets separately.
