Southwest has announced a new sale for travel through early May. Fares start at $49 one-way or $98 round-trip, and cities include San Francisco, Las Vegas, and New Orleans.
Southwest’s sale includes some good deals, but it also has a lot of competition. The sale fares were among the lowest available for the Chicago/Burbank, Dallas/San Francisco, Islip/Orlando, Los Angeles/Las Vegas, and Oakland/Portland routes, but other airlines had similar prices for most of those itineraries. American topped Southwest’s sale fare for travel between Baltimore and New Orleans, while Continental and Northwest had lower prices for the Providence/Pittsburgh route. Shop around before you book to find the best price and most convenient schedule for your travels.
