JetBlue

Through Thursday, JetBlue is offering sale fares starting at $39 one-way or $78 round-trip. Destinations include Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, and Aruba. Plus, JetBlue will take off an additional $10 each way for early December flights on most routes.

JetBlue’s deal is spotty. The best deals among the routes I checked were for the Oakland/Long Beach, Boston/San Juan, and New York/Aruba routes. AirTran and US Airways beat JetBlue’s Chicago/New York fare, while AirTran and American had better prices for the Washington/Las Vegas route. AirTran, American, United, US Airways, and JetBlue itself had lower fares for travel between Buffalo and Orlando.

London

Flights to London are on sale from Air Canada. Fares start at $279 round-trip for travel through early March.

Air Canada had the best prices for Columbus, Houston, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh departures, though the Houston fare was not listed in this sale. US Airways beat Air Canada’s price for departures from Portland and St. Louis. Air Canada may have a competitive price for your route, but you should compare fares to be sure.

Carnival

Carnival’s “Top Deals” page lists cruises with prices starting at $219 that depart within the next few months. Last-minute bookings are best for travelers who do not need to fly to their departure port, as walk-up airfares can be pricey and flights can sell out.
