Editor’s note: This week’s Deal Alert email newsletter inadvertently referred to Minneapolis as one of Skybus’ new destination cities. We meant, of course, Milwaukee. We apologize for the error.

Low-fare carrier Skybus is adding four new cities to its network: Chattanooga, Gulfport/Biloxi, Milwaukee, and Punta Gorda (near Ft. Myers). Fares start at $10 one-way.

United is offering first-class sale fares available for travel on Saturday. Fares start at $228 one-way or $456 round-trip, and destinations include Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; Toronto; and Calgary.

The Aussies love nothing more than a good outdoor reason to celebrate. October provides an overwhelming number of these occasions.

One of NBC’s most-hyped new series is the spy comedy “Chuck,” about a computer nerd who accidently views a secret file of documents and in turn, ends up in the middle of spy hijinks.

But there were no spy escapades happening Saturday when the cast and producers of the show held a pre-launch party at Pure. Almost all of the show’s leads (sans Adam Baldwin) and producers McG and Josh Schwartz lived it up on the main stage, near the DJ booth where Colleen Shannon was spinning a mega-mix that kept the dance floor packed.
